Section 1: Cleanliness & Infection Control

Are all communal areas (lounges, hallways) free from odors and visibly clean?

Are high-traffic touchpoints (door handles, handrails) being cleaned as per the schedule?

Is the upholstery on communal furniture intact and wipeable/clean?

Are carpets and flooring free from stains and professionally cleaned regularly?

Section 2: Maintenance & Safety

Are window restrictors fitted and functional on all windows above ground floor?

Are radiator covers secure and surface temperatures safe to the touch?

Is the nurse call system fully functional in all areas, including bathrooms?

Are there any signs of damp, peeling paint, or DIY hazards that need addressing?

Section 3: Gardens & Exterior

Are outdoor pathways level, well-lit, and free from moss or slip hazards?

Is garden furniture safe, clean, and in good repair?

Are perimeter fences/gates secure to prevent unauthorized exit (if applicable to the resident group)?

Is the bin store area tidy and are lids on all waste containers closed?
