Legionella & Water Safety Audit

Section 1: Temperature Monitoring

Are hot water sentinel points (furthest taps) reaching at least 50°C within one minute?

Are cold water sentinel points (nearest and furthest) below 20°C after running for two minutes?

Is the hot water calorifier/storage tank outlet temperature at 60°C or above?

Are TMVs (Thermostatic Mixing Valves) serviced and checked annually to prevent scalding?

Section 2: Flushing & Hygiene

Are all 'little used outlets' (taps/showers not used daily) being flushed weekly?

Is there a documented log for all weekly flushing activities?

Are showerheads and hoses being dismantled and descaled quarterly?

Are all taps and outlets clean and free from heavy scale buildup?

Section 3: Tank & System Condition

Is the cold water storage tank lid secure and tightly fitted?

Is the tank insect screen clean and in good condition?

Is there a current Legionella Risk Assessment (LRA) available on-site (dated within last 2 years)?

Are all dead-legs (unused pipework) identified and removed from the system?
